Planting Linear Functions for Fall
My favorite time of year is Fall! The weather is getting colder, the leaves are changing colors, and students are getting used to routines and classroom expectations. Let’s celebrate fall with a fall harvest of pumpkins, beans, corn, oak trees, flowers, sunflowers, and tomatoes. Students answer word problems, graph the situation, create tables, make equations and FINALLY… design their fall situation. Students LOVE seeing their work displayed for everyone to see in the halls. Our class is simply the cutest class during this season … truly awww-tumn!
